I imagined a hand-to-hand struggle between Rose, the queen of perfumery, the flower of love, and Oud wood, solemn, sexual and powerful, bringing out the attraction of opposites, the union becomes a wild and feline elixir. A unique chord for a unique olfactory image.
Ramon Monegal is the 4th generation of the Monegal family, founders of Myrurgia, which for over 100 years has been imagining and creating perfumes, an historic landmark in the world of perfume and a role model that deserves to be celebrated. I compose in Barcelona on the banks of the Mediterranean, fundamental origin in European culture and the birthplace of perfume and modern design in Spain. Barcelona is my port of refuge and my Mediterranean promenade between rivers.
