The goal of Jan Wilhelm Ahlgren, perfumer, designer, artist and founder of Vilhelm Parfumerie is to create perfumes of the future, fragrances that will not hide, but reveal the natural attractiveness of man. Intertwined with body odor, the molecules of Vilhelm Parfumerie fragrances turn into an alluring and aesthetically perfect aura, whose effect is comparable to the effect of pheromones. "A fragrance should not be attractive on its own, it should make you attractive! I believe this is the goal of modern perfumery. The composition should organically integrate into the molecular structure of body odor, emphasize its sexuality, and, of course, aesthetically beautify it" - Jan Wilhelm Algren. Vilhelm Parfumerie is a niche perfume house. Each fragrance here tells its own story - from childhood recollections of vacations spent at the seaside, to the fantasy on the theme of Paris of the early 1900s. Scents are the culmination of the creative process, they fully and accurately express the images, colors, energy and atmosphere of a place, event or feeling. They awaken our most secret memories and carry us through time and space. Many days, months and years pass from the conception of an idea to its realization, and we are happy to present them to you. Vilhelm is the middle name of the brand's creator, Jan Wilhelm Ahlgren, perfumer, designer and artist. His aim is to create perfumery of the future, a new olfactory language, the scents, which would not hide, but reveal the natural attractiveness of man. Jan Wilhelm Algren was born in Sweden. After graduating from art school, Jan left his homeland and moved to the capital of art, Paris, where he devoted himself to fashion. His new life was full of travel, beautiful people and poetic adventures.Building a career in the fashion industry, Jan moves to New York, where he finds his vocation. In New York, Ian launches a unique project for the fashion industry - a collection of leather bags, impregnating the material with precious fragrance oils, similar to the perfumers of the 18th century. While working on this project, realizing his bold idea, he met the ingenious perfumer - Jerome Epinette. In their work together, Jan Wilhelm discovered the magnificence of perfumery art and the power that fragrances have over our senses. In combining art, design and passion for fragrances, Vilhelm Parfumerie was born.
